Permit & Rebate Hub

Last updated: January 9, 2026

These Terms explain how Permit & Rebate Hub works and what you agree to when you use our website or services.

By using our website, contact forms, or filing services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

“Permit & Rebate Hub” (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a service business that helps homeowners, property owners, and contractors prepare and submit:

  • Permit filings with cities/counties

  • Rebate filings with utilities and related programs

We do not install equipment and we are not a city, county, utility, or government agency.

2. What we do (and don’t do)

What we do:

  • Review documents you or your contractor provide

  • Identify where and how to file permits and/or rebates

  • Prepare and submit applications on your behalf

  • Track the status of applications

  • Communicate updates from cities/utilities back to you

  • Provide final documents when filings are complete

What we don’t do:

  • Perform any installation or construction work

  • Decide whether a permit or rebate is approved or denied

  • Control processing timelines for cities, counties, or utilities

  • Guarantee any specific rebate amount or approval

  • Act as your legal, tax, or engineering advisor

All final decisions about approval, payment, timelines, and inspection requirements are made by the city/county or utility, not by us.

3. Who can use our services

You may use our services only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You have the legal right to authorize filings for the property or project

  • You provide accurate and complete information

If you are a contractor submitting information on behalf of a customer, you confirm that you have their permission to share their information with us.

4. How our services work

In general, the process works like this:

  1. You submit information and documents

    • Through our forms, email, or upload links.

  2. We review your documents

    • We confirm we have everything needed to file successfully.

    • If something is missing or inconsistent (for example, model numbers don’t match), we may ask you or your contractor to correct it.

  3. We file on your behalf

    • We submit permits through city/county portals (online, email, or in-person as required).

    • We use utility or program portals for rebates.

  4. We track and update you

    • We monitor statuses and notify you of submissions, corrections, approvals, and completion.

  5. We deliver final documents

    • We send approved permits, rebate confirmations, and related files for your records.

5. Your responsibilities

To use our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information

  • Make sure invoices, model numbers, and documents from your contractor are correct

  • Respond promptly if we or a city/utility request more information

  • Confirm the work was completed before we file (required for most rebates/permits)

  • Review final documents we send you and keep them for your records

If information is incorrect or incomplete, it can delay or prevent approval. We are not responsible for delays caused by missing, inaccurate, or late information from you or your contractor.

6. Service tiers, fees, and refunds

We currently offer two service tiers:

  • Basic Filing Assist

  • Standard Filing Assist

Each has published pricing for:

  • Permit-only filings

  • Rebate-only filings

  • Bundle (Permit + Rebate) filings

You agree to pay the fee shown at the time you sign up.

Payment and refund rules:

  • Payment is collected at purchase through our secure checkout.

  • Once we have submitted a permit or rebate, the service is considered delivered.

  • Fees are generally non-refundable after submission, even if the city/utility later denies or changes the application, because decisions are outside our control.

If we cannot complete submission due to our error, we'll issue a full refund.

7. No guarantees on timelines or outcomes

We do our best to move your filing forward quickly, but:

  • We cannot guarantee how long a city, county, or utility will take.

  • We cannot guarantee that a permit or rebate will be approved.

  • Programs and requirements can change; approval is always subject to the current rules of the city/utility.

All timelines we provide are estimates based on typical agency processing.

8. Your account and communication

You agree that we may contact you using the contact information you provide (email and, if applicable, phone) for:

  • Filing questions or status updates

  • Requests for additional information

  • Status updates and completion notices

If your contact information changes, it is your responsibility to update us.

9. Intellectual property

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the fee you paid for that specific filing.

We are not liable for errors or decisions made by:

  • Cities, counties, or permitting authorities
